Fire Code Adoption Hearing

NORTH SONOMACOAST FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT

            Notice is hereby given, pursuant to California Government Code section 6066 and 50022.3, that at its regular meeting at 2:00 pm on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at the North Fire Station, 39250 South Highway 1, The Sea Ranch, the North Sonoma Coast Fire Protection District shall conduct a public hearing to consider the adoption of a resolution to adopt a Fire Code by reference. The meeting agenda will be posted on http://northsonomacoastfpd.org/, and at the Gualala and Stewarts Point post offices. The meeting may be attended in person or via Zoom teleconference.

            By this Ordinance 2023-01, the North Sonoma Coast Fire Protection District would update its Fire Code as required by and consistent with current state law. The resolution proposes adoption of the 2022 edition of the California Fire Code, with local amendments as adopted by the County of Sonoma in Sonoma County Ordinance 6396. The proposed resolution is on file with the Clerk of the District Board of Directors, is posted on the District’s website at http://northsonomacoastfpd.org/, and is available for inspection and comment at the Sea Ranch CAL FIRE Station at 960 Annapolis Road, The Sea Ranch, 95497.
